The College of Engineering has nearly 300 scholarships that have been endowed over the years through the generosity of our alumni, private donors, and friends. These scholarships are available only to currently enrolled undergraduates in the College of Engineering. Students must reapply for these scholarships each year they wish to be considered. Although some of the scholarships are awarded based on financial need, most are based on a combination of need and merit or merit alone. Merit is generally described as having a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
All of the scholarships in our College of Engineering endowments are part of the CoE need- and merit-based scholarship program and share a common application. The online application opens in early May of each year. The application deadline is 11:00 am EST, June 3rd, for the Fall/Winter terms of the following academic year (i.e. June 3, 2019 for Fall/Winter 2019-20).
Need- and Merit-Based Scholarships will be awarded in mid-August. All students who applied will be notified if they were selected as a scholarship recipient in August.
